We had a fun 4th of July weekend. Saturday night, we hung out at the Parkers house. Emory and Zac swam, went down the blow up slide, and played with glow sticks. She had so much fun that she cried when we had to leave. Actually, both kids were crying when we were trying to leave......LOL. Blaine was a trooper and slept the whole time. Ah, it's so nice when they are this age.
Monday was spent at the Oldham Ranch which is Emory's favorite place. She gets undivided attention all day, and I get a much needed rest. We even left the kids and went and saw "Click" (our first movie in over 11 months!!!!!) It was tough for me to leave Blaine, but he did just fine.
We went to Plano's 4th of july parade Tuesday morning and actually got a shady spot under some trees. I don't think Emory gets the whole parade thing right now, but I think by next year she will.
