1st trip to the dentist

Miss Emory Faith had her very first dentist appt. a few weeks ago. We had been preparing by reading a book about dentists and brushing her teeth super good. She was very excited and really into it. The hygienist Jessica was wonderful and explained everything beforehand. Emory cooperated 100% during her exam which included everything that is in an adult exam minus the fluoride treatment. She counted her teeth, check for cavities, polished with bubble gum flavored polish, rinsed and used "Mr. Thirsty" and even flossed. Her Daddy showed up at the end while we were waiting for Dr. Burch to come over, so that totally threw her off and she wouldn't let Dr. Burch look. She was such a brave girl!
