Trip to the Tyler zoo in May

I am so behind in posting lately that I figured I would just try and catch up since I have a little free time.

Back in April we went to Longview for a few day to visit my parents and took a day trip to Tyler to the awesome zoo there. The only thing we didn't realize was that it was Tyelr's Spring Break! Duh! So, it was super crowded, but still fun. It is such a nice zoo and I have such fond memories of going there on class field trips growing up. But man has it changed alot since then ( I won't say how long ago that was).

Mimi, Pops & Aunt Loni went with us too! Mimi's knee was bothering her, so she was a trooper and rode around in a wheelchair.

My Pops is in the hospital right now waiting for back surgery after a nast fall from a ladder 2 weeks ago. This has set back his recovery from his aneurysm, so it is nice to look back at pictures when he was feeling good.
